I’m studying Level 2 Travel & Tourism. I’m currently learning about business travel which has been really interesting. My favourite part of the course topic-wise has been ‘World Wide Destinations’.

I studied Level 3 Travel & Tourism and Air Cabin Crew.We’re currently learning about aircraft safety, different commands, what we’d have to say in emergencies, drills that we’d have to do for an evacuation, memorising briefs for safety and working with passengers on board as well.

I’ve just completed my course studying a level two diploma in Air Cabin Crew. During this course we completed an assignment based on the roles of cabin crew and did lots of online learning about British Airways and getting to know the world of cabin crew.

I chose College because I thought it had more options to choose from and my school didn’t offer motor mechanics. I knew I wanted to start working in a trade and I picked motor vehicle. I applied online and found it quite easy to enrol. So far on the course we’ve covered steering, suspension, brakes, things that what you would need done at a garage.

When I was thinking about coming to College I originally looked online for courses and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to study plumbing or electrical, so I came to an open day, and ended up choosing plumbing. To get accepted onto the Level 2 course I needed grade 4 or above in maths and English GCSE which I had.

I chose College as I wanted to try something new. I realised I didn't really enjoy the structure of school and the lessons. When coming to College I have found that I can be much more independent, this is something that I didn't get when in school, which I felt would continue onto sixth form.
