IT has always been my thing – gadgets, phones, computers you name it! The best thing I have done on the programme so far has been learning to work as a team, and then learning the basics and more complex things as you move up the levels. I’ve learnt about programmes I’ve never used before, like Photoshop. I never got the chance to use this in my old school, but I got a distinction for doing an animation in Photoshop which surprised me!
Every tutor I’ve had I’ve got along with. If there’s any problems, I know who to go to. If I was stuck on anything they would come up and help me.
The facilities are really good – there’s everything I need here. The support is good I’ve just finished a six week course at the hub where they’ve helped with my English and maths.
At first I was really nervous to start College, I didn’t think I would make new friends, but I have. I really enjoy it and plan to move on to the Level 3. From there I am thinking of going into an apprenticeship or going into full-time work in an office. I might even go to work where I am doing my work placement.
