I chose this programme as I just love hairdressing and doing peoples’ hair. It’s so nice to see people happy at the end of it and it is exciting doing new looks. I find it really interesting.  

I chose MidKent College because it offered the programme I wanted to do and it fitted very nicely. I felt school was more regimented compared to College. I saw the open event on the website and came along to have a look at the options. I was set on staying at sixth form, but once I saw the childcare room here at the College and the other facilities, I changed my mind! 

I am studying the Level 1 in Hospitality and Catering and I chose this programme because I like the thought of cooking every week. I liked this subject when I went to my secondary school, Mascalls Academy. I chose MidKent College because it’s close to where I live and I get the bus to College. 

I chose the Level 2 in Hospitality & Catering as I want to be a chef. I completed a catering course at school. The skills I have learnt include how to carve a chicken as well as keeping it to a set time. You need to work fast and multi-task so it does bring a lot of skills. 

I am studying the Level 1 in Hospitality and Catering because I am interested in cooking as I learnt it in school. I went to Cornwallis School and chose MidKent College because of its location. 

I chose this as I would like to own my own business one day. I know a few friends who are in the construction trade. I am doing my apprenticeship with a company called Ian Williams. We work on council houses doing repairs and making sure they are decorated.
