I wanted to do Multi-Trades, and specifically Painting & Decorating, as I remember back in the summer I was painting my room and really enjoyed it. I was originally going to do sixth form but once I had decorated I really wanted to do this. I thought I would try the Multi-Trades programme and then see what trade I wanted to do.
I have learnt how to look after the equipment and not throw it out like I was told. I have been shown different techniques such as cutting in and Carpentry.
I would recommend this College as the Multi-Trades programme is very good to see what trade you want to do.
I think I would like to work for a business. My parents are very supportive about coming to College. My tutors are very approachable, supportive and they are very friendly which helps.
I hope to have a work placement lined up with JD Bush, a painter and decorators, so hopefully I can join them.
