I chose the Level 2 in Hospitality & Catering as I love cooking and everything about it. My favourite part has been pastry but I also like doing chicken chasseur and carving chicken which I have done today. We learn theory as well and do assignments and tests. In theory we’ve learnt about the running of a baking establishment and the layout of a kitchen.

I have a part-time job working at Greggs as I needed to have some work experience in the catering sector. I serve customers and put items in the oven as well as make sure they are cooked correctly.

I chose this College as it is easy to get to for me as I live in Strood. My parents are very supportive as I did a BTEC at school and I wanted to go onto the College to complete my training.

I would recommend this College as there is a lot here you wouldn’t find elsewhere and the tutors are really good.
