Course Description

Enrol on this course and gain an in-depth understanding of the health and social care sector and its role in society.

Whether you want to be a midwife, nurse, social worker or any other associated profession, the level 3 Diploma will teach you the job skills that will help you get there.

Topics covered may include caring for children and young people, supporting and protecting adults, lifespan development, first aid and lots more.

> You will be assessed through written and practical assignments, work experience and a portfolio of evidence
> Vocational work experience is mandatory and minimum criteria must be achieved in order to succeed

Future Prospects

Successful completion of the course could lead to employment, university or further professional training (e.g. nursing, midwifery, social work, residential care management, supported housing or the probation service).
