Winning work experience

Supported & Foundation Learning student, Noorkhan Popalzia, recently gained valuable work experience at Medway Park, Gillingham. The European Team Table Tennis Championships took place in November and at the qualifying matches between England vs Slovenia, Noorkhan was a Back of House and Spectator Assistant.

Noorkhan was given various tasks including assisting the players and officials with pre-match procedures and leading the parades of athletes onto the field of play. When he was not carrying equipment and acting as a ball collector, his main role was to assist, enthuse and engage with the spectators.
