MidKent College took part in STEMfest last week, helping to inspire the next generation of Scientists, Technologists, Engineers and Mathematicians.
Year six pupils from across Kent headed to the Medway Campus to take part in a range of interactive sessions using our facilities. Level 3 students and their teachers delivered workshops that included some explosive demonstrations in the Chemistry lab, and the chance to try out the latest in engineering technology.

It also offered a great opportunity to create links with other businesses in the STEM community. Lesley Mayo, School Links Co-Ordinator, said "it is a wonderful opportunity for MidKent College to enthuse the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians. The local children are so keen to learn and participate at every opportunity."
With one young student claiming MidKent was "the best school ever", the day was a great success, and well done to everyone involved.
