Congratulating him, Chris Gibbs, Team Leader 2gether support solutions, QEQM, said: “Sam is a pleasure to manage. He has developed into a highly regarded member of our team already. I believe he has a bright future in an engineering environment. He is always helpful, polite, willing to learn and is well thought of by his peers and senior management here at the QEQM.”

Steve Uden, MidKent College tutor, said: “Sam has been an incredible apprentice to work with, showing a level of maturity and commitment that has truly stood out. He takes his apprenticeship seriously, with every interaction, and submission. He approaches every week with a clear sense of purpose and responsibility.

“He carries himself with professionalism and consistently produces work of a high quality. His portfolio is clear evidence of the effort and standard he sets for himself. What really sets Sam apart is his initiative. He actively seeks out work, chasing my feedback or the next task rather than waiting to be directed. That drive and motivation to grow is exactly what we look for in an Apprentices.”

Sam said: “I’m genuinely enjoying my apprenticeship and feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity. Every day brings new challenges and experiences that help me grow both personally and professionally. I’ve already learned so much, from practical skills to better communication and problem-solving, and I can see real progress in my confidence and abilities. Being part of my team and gaining hands-on experience has been rewarding, and I’m excited to continue learning and developing further.”

Congratulations Sam.
