Safety in Action 2015
Primary school pupils were prepared for the dangers of adult life at MidKent College’s Safety in Action event.
Over 200 pupils from four local primary schools learned valuable lessons on a range of different topics which included safety awareness and stranger danger.
Students from the College’s Public Services course helped to run the event supported by a number of partner agencies such as the Army, Kent Police and Medway Council.
This event is fantastic experience for our students too, as it allows them to work on their leadership and teamwork skills.
Teaching and Learning Manager Kat Topps said: “We hope to make this an annual fixture for the College and have more primary schools attending”.
All profits made from the event will be shared between Help for Heroes and The British Heart Foundation.
