Cullum is celebrating an exciting next step in his digital technology journey after achieving grades he is incredibly proud of.

Cullum has secured a place on a Digital Technology Solutions Apprenticeship Degree at the University of Greenwich. After two years of dedication and hard work, Cullum said he was delighted to see his efforts rewarded.

“I’m really proud of the grades I have achieved.”

Cullum explained that the results did not come as a surprise, as he had worked closely with his tutors throughout his course to reach his goals.

“I was expecting these results because I have worked really hard with my tutors to achieve them.”

One of the highlights of his time at MidKent College has been the opportunity to learn from a variety of tutors and gain different perspectives across the two-year course.

“My favourite part about the college is meeting and learning from the different tutors that I have had over the two years.”

Alongside his studies, Cullum has been volunteering with an IT company as part of his workplace experience. His commitment and enthusiasm made such a positive impression that the company has decided to keep him on, helping to open the door to his next exciting opportunity.

“During my two years at MidKent, I have been volunteering for an IT company for my workplace experience. They have kept me on, and in September I will start at the University of Greenwich doing an apprenticeship degree in Digital Technology Solutions.”

Reflecting on his journey, Cullum shared two pieces of advice for anyone starting their course at MidKent College:

“What you put in is what you get out. Take every opportunity available to you - you never know what it may lead to.”

He also highlighted the importance of building strong relationships with tutors and making the most of the support available.

“I believe that it is really important to have a good relationship with the tutors and continuously ask questions to improve your knowledge on the subject you are studying.”

Congratulations Cullum!
