The 'Best in Kent' competition is held annually at different colleges across Kent and, as the name implies, is aimed at determining the best and most able students in their chosen trades from across Kent colleges. The competition is across the main four construction trades; painting & decorating, bricklaying, bench joinery, and site carpentry.
At the end of a very competitive day MidKent College won ‘The Best in Kent’ in the Bricklaying, Bench Joinery and Painting & Decorating categories.
Congratulations to Charlie Grogan from the Maidstone Campus in the Bricklaying category, Vicki Sheppard from the Medway Campus in the Painting and Decorating category and William Prime from the Maidstone Campus in Bench Joinery!
We are immensely proud of the standard of work by our competing students. These competitions are a good test of ability and encourage an increasing level of skill and aptitude.
Congratulations to all involved - and we look forward to competing again next year!
