Mark Wooler, who is an Engineering Operative (Maintenance) L2 apprentice works for H20 Pumping Solutions Ltd in Sevenoaks.
Congratulating him, Laura Knowles, Business Support Manager, H20 Pumping Solutions, said: Mark is a great asset to the Company.
He is also punctual and has a very positive attitude towards work. Mark has demonstrated significant improvement and consistently performs tasks with increasing confidence and skill.
Maqsood Malik, MidKent College tutor, said: “Mark is very focused in his studies, and has developed a good rapport with his colleagues, teaching staff and managers at work. His colleagues and managers say they have a good regard for his work ethics. There is already talk from his employer about encouraging him to pursue his studies to higher level. The teaching staff at college are very happy with his attendance, behaviour and skills.”
Steve Uden, another of his MidKent College tutors said: “Mark has consistently been one of the best apprentices we have had on the Level 2 Maintenance programme so far. He is always punctual and currently maintains 100% attendance. Mark demonstrates an excellent attitude towards learning. He is a polite and engaging individual who communicates well and is not afraid to ask questions in both theory and practical sessions. His commitment and enthusiasm make him a great example to his peers.”
Mark said: “Being at college has really helped me develop the skills and confidence I use every day at work. The lessons and training I’ve received have given me a deeper understanding of my role and helped me apply new techniques to improve the way I work. I really enjoy learning on the job and putting what I’ve learned into practice, as it allows me to see my progress and make a real difference in my workplace. The combination of studying and hands-on experience has made me more motivated and passionate about my career.
