Interior Design students have recently returned from their first trip this year, to the 100% Design Show at Olympia.
The show is a great place to gather inspiration and to see what is coming up in the design sector this year. Retro and Art Deco were the key focuses and the event was filled with displays of furniture, interiors, and the best pieces from architects and designers. This also included some fantastic multi-purpose furniture to help those who need to save space in their homes or offices.
April Ward and Elaine Bentley, Interior Design tutors, said "this was our first trip with our new students and they thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition, meeting and talking to presenters and also collecting samples to help them with their portfolio on the course. The show highlighted the various employment options that our students could progress into after completing the course and they were even able to network with stockholders and collect their details for the future."
