In association with Springboard UK, MidKent College hosted the annual Hospitality and Catering Employability Fair on 20 April. We would like to thank the employers who supported the event and inspired our students with career opportunities and guidance within the Hospitality, Travel and Catering industries:
Gather and Gather WorkaSeason JD Weatherspoons Caterlink Marriott Shepheard Neame Pavilion Events Springboard UK Mercure Hotels P & O Ferries Wine & Spirit Education Trust Harvester Hilton Whiting & Hammond Armed Forces Students were given the chance to talk about the industry with all of these employers, who were on hand to give the best advice and knowledge. Our HND Event Management (Hospitality) students supported the event and the schools and colleges that attended on the day, and were a great addition to a busy morning.
One of the teachers who accompanied the students from Robert Napier said:
“We all had a great day and it has really inspired some of our students to pursue further education and a career within the catering and hospitality industry.”
