A gap year is a planned 12 month break to either travel the world or earn money for studying. For most, it means taking a year out before going off to university, however, you could choose to take a gap year after completing your degree, or even whilst you are working if you have understanding employers!

Are you joining us in September? If so, we guess that you are feeling nervous, although hopefully excited too! Leaving school and starting College is a big step for many – you'll be leaving familiar faces and places behind and starting a new more independent chapter in your life.

You’ve made your application and have an interview date coming up… what can you expect and how can you prepare? Although our interviews are now taking place over the phone instead of in person, it’s still nerve-wracking to have to talk to someone you’ve never met! 

An open event is a great experience to discover your next move in education. Now's the time to discover your local College! You may think you know what to do to reach your future career but when it comes to the real thing it could be a completely different idea to what you imagine. 

Your study programme and next steps are so important to us whilst you’re at College but it’s not the only thing.
