It’s normal to feel uncertain on results day, especially if your GCSE grades weren’t quite what you’d hoped for. Whatever the outcome, there are always options and support available.

You’re not alone!

Many of our prospective students find themselves in the same situation. Your GCSE grades are important, but they don’t have to define your future. What matters now is how you respond. At MidKent College, we’re here to help you find the right way forward.

We're here to help
Our Admissions and Careers teams are experienced in helping students find the right course for their situation. Even if you didn’t get the exact grades required for a particular programme, we may be able to offer you a place on a suitable alternative (subject to availability) that will still help you achieve your long-term career goals.

Need to resit English and/or maths?

You’ll need a grade 4 in English and Maths for many careers and for progression to or Level 3 courses, but if you didn’t get them this time, you can retake them as part of your study programme.

Please still attend your enrolment session!

Whatever the outcome on results day, please do still come along to your face-to-face enrolment session. You can find the date and time of your appointment in the enrolment portal. Please make every effort to attend on your scheduled date. However, if you’re unable to do so, let us know as soon as possible using this form, so we can make alternative arrangements.

This appointment is your chance to explore alternative programmes, arrange any required retakes for English and maths and ensure you’re sorted for September!

See you soon!
