GCSE results day - we're here to help

Didn’t expect the GCSE grades you got? Are you disappointed and not sure where to turn? We’ve got you covered!

You may think that you’re the only one feeling this way but there are many others in the same boat and feeling exactly the same as you.

The first thing to do is not to panic, it’s easier said than done, but panic doesn’t help you rationalise your thoughts or think clearly about your next steps. Talking to your parents, friends or a tutor can help as they can support you and help with thinking about what to do next.

It’s also a good idea to talk to an impartial careers adviser who can look at your grades and your future aspirations to see what the best route is. Whether that be a lower-level College programme or an apprenticeship.

We had a dedicated team of qualified impartial careers advisers who can help identify a career choice and help with your next step. They can offer you:

  • Advice over the phone
  • Advice through email
  • One to one appointment
  • Support with job searching
  • Career planning

And so much more. If you need some advice, then contact our careers advisors today on 01634 383636 or send them an email careersadviser@midkent.ac.uk

If you’d like to apply for a College programme, there’s still time to apply. Apply here.
