I’m really enjoying the course so far, a lot of my family are in the construction business and mechanics so I was choosing between those.
I did BTEC construction at my secondary school and then came here to carry it on.
I think coming here I’ve developed my skills so much more, we didn’t have all the facilities like we do here at College when I was at school.
So far we’ve built a pyramid looking wall, a straight wall with a corner edge like an L shape. We have quite a lot of coursework to do but I enjoy it. I would definitely recommend this course to others, I get along with everyone in my class.
After this course I want to get a job doing bricklaying.
