At the moment we are learning the basics, so things like facials, make-up and nails. I am really enjoying learning about the make-up part of the programme and the facials.
One of the reasons I chose this programme is because two people from my family were beauticians and I would also like to become a beauty therapist.
I would recommend this programme as you do learn a lot and can get better at what you want to do. I am also studying English and maths alongside which can sometimes be quite hard. MidKent College is close to where I live.
Once I have finished College I would like to go into work, ideally doing make-up, nails or facials. I attended an open event before applying to College which was really useful as I got to meet the tutors and see the facilities.
My tutors are really helpful. It’s really good having a tutor that has worked in the industry before.
