I chose this programme as I love doing my own make-up. I also watch a lot of make- up tutorials, including ones on TikTok! At the moment we are learning about contouring your face so about different face shapes and how to contour them. We are also doing make-up looks, pedicures and facials. I really love doing the practicals; they are really fun. I like that we can bring in the models, so you can bring your friends in as clients.
I would definitely recommend this programme to other students as the facilities and equipment are good and it’s really enjoyable. I had heard really good reviews for the College and it is close to home which is part of the reason I chose MidKent College.
After College I would like to work in a salon and eventually own my own salon I will do some work experience as part of this programme and am looking to go into a salon. I’m heading more towards, hair, nails and make-up for a career.
