You may have seen media reports of a meningococcal disease outbreak in Kent.  No one from our College has become unwell as part of the outbreak.

I am studying the Level 1 in Carpentry and I chose this programme because I always did this at home with my parents growing up. In the future I want to restore furniture.

I decided to come to MidKent College as I know people here and although it’s not the closest for me, it is definitely the College I preferred in my area.

I do a lot of practical work and use mostly hand tools; we do not use power tools yet.  After this I would like to progress onto the Level 2.

I would recommend this College; it is very good and there are lots of people here to support you. My tutors are really good, especially Roger; he helps me out with not just College work also with a box I am refurbishing at home and he gives me advice and helps me out a lot with it.
