I am studying the Level 1 in Hospitality and Catering because I am interested in cooking as I learnt it in school. I went to Cornwallis School and chose MidKent College because of its location.
So far I have learnt how to make soup, and we made some cakes in the taster session. We are also cooking chicken with vegetables, gravy and French trimmings. We have already done a couple of practices doing this.
I came to the open day and it seemed like something I would like to do. I like my tutors and the environment is different from school as they treat us like adults. I would recommend coming to MidKent College as there are lots of different programmes to choose from that would suit everyone.
