I have always liked carpentry, especially the practical side. I never wanted a job in an office. I am learning all the different joints, health and safety, PPE and the different tools. I really enjoy making the different joints.
My tutors have been telling us what to expect for when we leave. I have two jobs which are carpentry-based at the moment.
I would recommend this programe as it is good to learn the skills and my tutors have helped. I chose MidKent College as it is close to where I live. I want to work full-time when I have finished this programme.
