You may have seen media reports of a meningococcal disease outbreak in Kent.  No one from our College has become unwell as part of the outbreak.

I chose MidKent College because it offered the programme I wanted to do and it fitted very nicely. I felt school was more regimented compared to College. I saw the open event on the website and came along to have a look at the options. I was set on staying at sixth form, but once I saw the childcare room here at the College and the other facilities, I changed my mind!

I am thinking about becoming a primary school teacher so will need to go onto university.

I chose the T level as it will give me a qualification that is equivalent to three A levels which I need to get into university. I had to have five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and maths to get onto the T Level.

So far on the programme we’ve covered equality and diversity, explored what each role does in the education setting, SEN (Special Educational Needs) and lots more. I really enjoy the practical side of the programme and with the T level, it is different as there seems to be less pressure as I am focusing on one subject. I am hoping to start my placement at Hundred of Hoo Primary School soon which is near to where I live.

I think this is a good place to learn as they treat you like adults and the facilities are really good. All the tutors are friendly and supportive.
