Supercharge your career in Digital Support Services at MidKent: Our T-Level will prepare you for success!

Our cutting-edge T-Level qualification will unlock a diverse array of career opportunities such as network engineering, infrastructure technician, service desk specialist and more.

With a practical-focused approach, the T-Level is the ideal way to immediately move to the working world by working directly with companies and getting fully immersed in the field, learning key transferable skills such as risk management, dexterity and fine motor skills, network configuration, PC building and end-user device setup. By focusing our qualification to the Technical Support Services pathway, we aim to provide the best possible outcomes for our students by gearing up towards the in-demand roles and current needs of the sector.

Taking place over 2 years, the Digital T-Level covers a variety of subjects through a mix of practical and written exams:

Year 1:
Route Core – Business Context, Culture, Data, Digital Analysis, Digital Environments, Diversity, Learning, Legislation, Planning, Security, Testing, Tools (2 Written Exams)
Employer Set Project – Careers, Communication, Fault Analysis and Problem Resolution (Project & Practical Exam)

Year 2:
Occupational Specialism – Digital Support (3 Practical Exams)
Industry Placement – 315hrs throughout the year

We also provide a variety of opportunities for additional experience through industry connections such as Gillingham Street Angels, Tribeca and more.

Future Prospects

The Digital T-Level allows students to take on any technical or support services role at a full-time or apprenticeship level, with opportunities to study and specialise further through trades and industry as well as opportunities at university-level education.

Entry Requirements

For the Digital T-Level the entry criteria are a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 and above including Maths and English GCSEs at Grade 4 or above.
