Find out the difference between and English for Speakers of Other Languages course and a study programme here.

Learn English at a level that is appropriate to you. Our tutors are expertly trained and are perfectly positioned to provide you with the language skills and overall support you need to enhance your understanding of the English language; which is the third most spoken language in the world!

At each level, ESOL qualifications cover four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. We use a short test to decide the best entry level for your studies:

Entry 1: For students who can speak a little English. You will learn how to write sentences, read short texts, listen for information and speak about daily life

Entry 2: For students who can already read, write, speak and understand basic English. This could will help you improve all your skills and develop your grammar

Entry 3: For able speakers who need to use more formal English for work or study. You will also develop good reading and writing skills.

You will also have a work experience opportunity to develop your skills further.
