What will the apprentice be doing?

• Learning the welding trade
• Assisting welders on site adapting practical skills
• Attending college on a regular basis to achieve the qualification

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• Welding
• The training will be carried out at Midkent College
• There is a minimum GCSE qualification of 4/C or equivalent in maths, English and Science

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The apprenticeship level 2 will run for 2 years. Once this has been completed, level 3 will be considered.
