My Journey
“I began my journey at MidKent College studying Level 3 Sport and Exercise Science, before progressing to the Level 5 Sport and Leisure Management course.
After completing my studies, I moved to Spain and managed leisure operations across hotels along the Costa del Sol. Choosing to stay through winter led me to a role with a sports gaming company in Gibraltar - a move that sparked my career in compliance.
Through hands-on experience and a passion for learning, I worked my way up to become a Senior Lead AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Analyst, and was later headhunted by companies seeking to strengthen their compliance structures.
Today, I am Head of Compliance for a major organisation that provides key logistical infrastructure to both Britain and the EU contributing to large-scale operations across the continent. I use my expertise to ensure governance, risk and compliance across the organisation, of which protects the enterprise, staff and the public against continuous threats.
My time at the College gave me more than just academic knowledge, it gave me the drive and mindset to explore ambitious career paths."
