James is an experienced CIPFA-qualified accountant. He brings a wealth of experience from across the public and private sector and is passionate about making improvements and helping others achieve their potential.

d in External Audit and qualified with the Audit Commission, he continued his External Audit career at Grant Thornton. During his time there, he expanded his experiences, working with private sector companies, health care advisory, Internal Audit as well as secondments to market regulators and a large local authority in London. His time in advisory developed his skills in clear and easy to follow governance arrangements and linking operational delivery to strategic achievement. James joins us after nearly a decade of working within the NHS across a number of bodies in London, Hertfordshire and Essex, where he held various roles including Finance Director.

He also sits on the Board of the Mid Kent College Training Services as the Chief Finance Officer.
