I am the elected Students’ Union President at MidKent College, where I lead the student executive team and work closely with staff to strengthen student experience across the college.
My role involves supporting student-led initiatives, improving communication between learners and senior leadership, and ensuring that the student voice is heard at every level.
My aim is to represent students confidently and effectively at Board level, using my experience in leadership and student engagement to bring a clear, real and grounded learner perspective to discussions. As an IT student, I am passionate about digital innovation, accessibility, and creating an inclusive environment where every student feels supported to succeed.
My work in the Union has helped me develop strong communication, problem-solving and event-leadership skills, all of which I intend to bring into my governor role. Completing the governor induction is an important step in strengthening my understanding of governance and preparing me to contribute meaningfully to strategic decision-making at MidKent College. I look forward to developing further through this process and representing the student community with commitment, integrity and ambition.
