Marie Woolston

Marie is Head of Service at a large alternative provision in North Kent that transforms the lives of some of the most disadvantaged and socially, economically and educationally marginalised young people in the country. Marie has been committed to changing lives throughout an education career that has seen her teach in and lead primary, secondary and specialist schools in both state and independent sectors. Having spent many years as a safeguarding lead, responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the most vulnerable young people, Marie brings to the College a wealth of expertise and support. As a passionate advocate for improving learning and outcomes through high-quality vocational training, Marie continues to demonstrate a determination to radically improve the life chances of all young people.
