Until the summer of 2022 Andy was CEO at Greater Brighton Metropolitan College, and he is now working as an education consultant with Rockborn Management, specialising in strategic and governance reviews and change management.
Andy’s career in the education and skills sector spans over 37 years; 25 within senior leadership positions. Having been the CEO and principal at four college groups - each with its own set of challenges - he has honed his skills in curriculum development and quality improvement, as well as business turnaround and financial recovery.
In addition to his position at Rockborn, Andy is managing director of MIE Partners, providing transformational coaching for leaders within the not-for-profit and public sectors. He has also recently joined the board of trustees of Leighton College (Elfrida Rathbone Camden), a specialist college delivering further education provision for young people with learning disabilities
