I Studied History, Economics, and Government & Politics at A Level at the Maidstone campus between 1981 and 1984.
I now live in Northumberland and work for NatWest as a Quality Assurance Manager.
College was a much more relaxed and adult environment compared to the strict grammar school. I was active in the Student Union as Sports Secretary for two years, which really helped me build confidence. This experience gave me the skills to present to senior managers and host events - something that was made easier by speaking in front of large groups at college. Beyond academics, the whole college experience taught me responsibility and the importance of being a positive role model.
