I'm studying the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design. I really enjoy the course; art school has always been my dream, so as soon as I had a chance to go, I took it. I found out about Medway School of Arts through MidKent College. I'm currently working on my final major project.
We get to do a whole range of things on this course, like graphic design and illustration – that way, you can find what you really like. I really like to do graphic design and illustration. I would really like to carry this on as a career after – I've applied for the BA here as well so I can continue this September.
I would definitely recommend this course. I think the location is brilliant, and it's so nice to be able to explore the Dockyard. It's nice and quiet here, not like other big university campuses. I love the staff too – the tutors are very helpful. I have kids, and I find the balance and time for me works really well being here.
I just wish I'd known about Medway School of Arts sooner!
