MidKent College commemorate Remembrance Day

MidKent College staff and students came together to commemorate the fallen on Remembrance Day.

Public Services students led the ceremony with a parade, poems and readings, cluminating in a poppy wreath being laid and a two minute silence. Armed services veterans also joined us at our Medway Campus.

It's so important that each year we continue to inform the next generation about the past conflicts, and to honour those who have given their lives to secure our freedom.

Find out more as to why we mark Remembrance Day at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month here. There's still time to purchase your poppy, and help to fundraise for the Royal British Legion, by visiting reception.

We would like to thank all those who joined us to pay their respects.
