I chose Construction and the Built Environment because I’d had an interest in the construction industry for a while. So far on the programme we’ve learnt graphical detailing, health and safety, surveying and building regulations. When I finish the programme, I want to do an internship as a CAD Technician, and possibly pursue that as a career.
I would recommend studying Construction at MidKent College because the tutors are great, and you learn all the skills you’ll need to further your career in the industry. Last year we visited the University of Kent and went on an architectural tour of Canterbury.
