Joe Reardon

I’m an apprentice bricklayer and work with Roe Brickwork attending College one day a week usually.

 My job involves carrying and passing bricks and blocks to the other bricklayers and actually laying the bricks and blocks. Currently I’m on site building houses in Kings Hill. 

I really enjoy laying the bricks and seeing it all build up and come together and it’s a good feeling when you see the house built. I chose an apprenticeship as I wanted to be out there earning money as soon as I could and didn’t really like being in a classroom. 

I found the apprenticeship through a friend of my dad’s. I’d like to stay on and continue with this company when I’ve finished the apprenticeship.
