You could be eligible for a free Level 3 qualification to build the skills that local businesses are looking for!

If you are an adult aged over 24 and do not already have a full Level 3 qualification (for example A Levels, an Advanced Technical Diploma or equivalent), you can now study for your first full Level 3 qualification for free as part of the Government's Lifetime Skills Guarantee. 

This offer, including the small range of courses that available to you, has been designed to help adults gain the skills and qualifications that they need to succeed in work, and in line with local skills needs. 

At MidKent College the following courses are available to you through the scheme:

  • National Extended Diploma in Engineering Level 3
  • Extended Diploma in Public Services Level 3
  • Diploma in Entry into Uniformed Services Level 3
  • Diploma in Policing Level 3
  • Diploma in Accounting (AAT) Level 3
  • Advanced Technical Diploma in Electrical Installation Level 3
  • National Extended Diploma in Children's Play, Learning and Development Level 3
  • Diploma in Children's Learning and Development (Early Years Educator) Level 3
  • Advanced Diploma in Professional Cookery Level 3
  • Advanced Technical Diploma in Plumbing Level 3
