This course will cover Introduction to Learning and Teaching, the initial part of the Diploma in Education & Training (DET) qualification.

  • On successful completion of the Diploma/ProfGCE you can apply for Qualified Teacher, Learning and Skills (QTLS) status through the Education and Training Foundation (ETF)
  • You do not need teaching hours to do this award.

    After completing this initial qualification, you have the option to progress onto the Diploma in Education & Training (DET).

    You must have access to teaching hours to progress.

    There are no entry requirements although you will need a good understanding of written and verbal English.
