The Details

This course is for those who wish to learn general job skills while also gaining a basic understanding of the sport and fitness industry.

You will spend two days a week on a City & Guilds employability and personal development programme, and a further two studying your chosen vocational subject.

By the end of the course you should have a much clearer idea of what it takes to gain employment in this rewarding sector.

Other Important Info

All MidKent College students will continue studying English and maths until they are 19, or until they have achieved a Grade C/4. Your study programme will incorporate a Work Placement of up to 350 hours in a role relevant to your study. All students will have access to a Personal Tutor to support their personal and professional development.

Future Prospects

The aim of this course is to enable all students to progress to level 2, subject to entry criteria. It will also provide the basic job skills required to help those seeking employment for the first time.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of four GCSEs at grade 2/F or above, including English or maths.
