Gather your senses and navigate your way through this invaluable programme to help prepare you for a wide range of exciting career paths.

You will learn all about the work of the various public services and their roles in society, and will also tackle units including health and fitness, adventurous activities, teamwork, the law and lots more. You'll also improve your map reading and navigation skills too!

You may also have the opportunity to study for additional qualifications including security, road skills, volunteering and stewarding, and events management.

Other Important Info

  • Although the majority of study is theory, the course is designed to be as practical as possible and will include a number of visits and outdoor exercises as well as residential expeditions
  • You will be assessed through written assignments and practical work, and will also be required to compile a portfolio of evidence
  • All MidKent College students will continue studying English and maths until they are 19, or until they have achieved a Grade C/4. Your study programme will incorporate a Work Placement of up to 350 hours in a role relevant to your study. All students will have access to a Personal Tutor to support their personal and professional development.
