The Details

Enrol on our level 2 course and develop an in-depth understanding of the skills required for a career in the plumbing/heating or building services industries.

You will be required to undertake more technical tasks than on the level 1 programme, including hot and cold water, sanitation and drainage, and bathroom and heating installations

This course also covers central heating, environmental awareness, customer care and lots more.

Other Important Info

  • You will learn mostly through practical tasks and demonstrations but will also be expected to attend theory lessons
  • You will be continuously assessed through assignments, activity reports, phase tests, a portfolio of your work and an online exam
  • This is a study programme which includes English, maths and work experience in addition to your main programme

    Future Prospects

    Successful completion of the course will significantly improve your chances of employment in the plumbing and heating industry. It could also help you progress to a level 3 programme or an apprenticeship.

    Entry Requirements

    Four GCSEs at grade D/3 or above, including English or maths at grade D/3 or above.
