Earn while you learn on an apprenticeship with the College! This nationally recognised standard will provide you with the skills, experience and knowledge you need to progress in your chosen career. Your apprenticeship framework will include a combination of on-the-job training, studying for your qualification at College and maths, English and possibly ICT depending on the framework and any prior GCSEs.

Some of your training will be College based, and you'll receive practical teaching in the workshops, as well as theory sessions to apply to your work
All students must provide their own personal protective equipment at College to study Painting & DecoratingFuture Prospects
On completion of the course, you'll be a fully qualified tradesperson with the ability to carry out painting and decorating on workplace projects. If you successfully complete the level 2 course, you will be able to progress onto the level 3.
Entry Requirements
Students need to have the following:
Employment within the sector with a contract of employment for at least 30 hours per week
A good standard of education with 5 GCSEs at A-D / 9-3 including maths and English (or equivalent)
Satisfactory completion of the college initial assessment
