The Details Workbook 1
In this workbook you will learn about how organisational policies and procedures can contribute to creating a positive and safe environment. You will consider your own responsibilities and limitations within your own work role. You will develop an understanding of risk assessment and how to promote a positive and supportive workplace culture. You will learn about work-related violence and the types of behaviours included, along with the possible impact on both the individual and the business. You will look at the possible causes, warning signs and triggers and how conflict situations can be defused. You will develop an understanding of the reporting procedures following incidents and how to prevent workplace violence, including the legislative framework supporting the prevention of workplace violence and the protection of employees.
In this workbook you will learn about aggressive behaviour, bullying and harassment in the workplace, along with how to de-escalate such behaviour. You will also look at equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, including current legislation and how the individual rights are protected.

Due to the availability of government funding, we're able to offer a range of short qualifications at no cost to applicants aged 19 or over who have lived in the EU for at least three years. Failure to complete your course will result in a fee of £125

By undertaking this course, you will gain formal recognition by obtaining a nationally recognised qualification. This will enable you to further your own personal and professional development, which could also support you in improving your career prospects. You can progress onto another Level 2 or a Level 3 Course and continue your studies.
