Enter the A-list world of professional hair and make-up by enrolling on this nationally recognised course.

In addition to six mandatory units covering the basic skills you will require, you will also have the opportunity to learn more about tanning, face-painting, eyelash-perming, nail art, body art, mehndi skin decorations and more.

Taught in the College's state-of-the-art Pure beauty salon, there is not a better place to get your start in the hair and media make-up industry.

Other Important Info

  • Your tutor will provide practical demonstrations and support with written, oral and practical work
  • You will be assessed throughout the course and will also be required to build a portfolio of evidence
  • This is a study programme which includes English, maths and work experience in addition to your main programme

    Future Prospects

    This will enable students to gain the essential skills that can lead to a career in Media Make-up including development in Hair and Beauty techniques. This could then lead onto the level 3 Theatrical and Media Make-up course.

    Entry Requirements

    Four GCSEs at grade D/3 or above, including English or maths at grade D/3 or above.
