The Higher National Diploma (Top-up) is a top-up stage of the 120 credit Higher National Certificate in Building Services Engineering. This qualification is required to gain entry to the BEng (Hons) in Building Services Engineering.
This stage requires 120 credits (eight modules) to be attained. Specific required modules and options for each student will be agreed by the programme director.
Other Important Info A wide range of learning and assessment experiences are provided throughout the course. The emphasis is upon student-centred and industry-relevant methods of teaching
Students will usually wish to purchase textbooks although there are extensive library and online resources available
Ceremony costs apply for those wishing to attend the graduation
The modules are internally assessed using a variety of methods and styles as appropriate to each module. Assessment methods include assignments, research projects, problemsolving case studies, practical tasks, group work, oral presentations, time-constrained assignments and formal examinations
This programme is validated by the University of Greenwich.
Successful students will be able to progress onto the BEng (Hons) in Building Services Engineering.
Students will be required to have achieved the Higher National Certificate in Building Services Engineering.
