You will study several modules covering a wide range of business-related topics such as:

? Financial Planning & Management
? Management Accounting
? Starting a Small Business
? Developing a Business Plan
? Managing Human Resources
? Staff Recruitment & Selection
? Business Communication
? Basic Marketing Principles
? Business Law (Contract, Tort, Consumer Protection and Employment law)
? Introduction to Sociology

In addition to these business topics, you will also learn the study skills (such as academic writing, referencing, research skills and giving presentations) which will be required as you progress on to Higher Education.

Other Important Info

Access to Higher Education courses are ideal for students aged 19 and over who wish to study a degree but lack the formal qualifications universities are looking for.

You will also receive help and support with the university application process.

Entry Requirements

You must have a grade C/grade 4 in GCSE English and maths and pass our internal assessments in English and maths at interview.

For English and maths you must be working at level 2 (GCSE level) in order to start the level 3 Access course. Entry to university may require GCSE English and maths.
