If your course is at least one day per week over the 36 week academic year, you will automatically become a member of the College's Students' Union (SU).

The SU promotes the interests and welfare of MidKent College students, and organises many popular social, sporting and local community events. 

Affiliated to the National Union of Students (NUS), members can also enjoy the benefits provided by the NUS to its own members (such as advice on student issues and discounts in many high street stores as well as online).

The SU President, Matt Stanley, and another Students' Union Member, are full members of the College's Governing Body, meaning student opinion has a direct impact on the decisions College Governors and senior staff make.
