The victorious Medway Campus football team
Tuesday, 15 May 2012
Footballers studying at MidKent College won the Kent Colleges Student Sports Association (KCSSA) six-a-side tournament for the second year running.
Both the Medway and Maidstone campuses entered male and female teams into the competition, but it was the Medway men who came out on top.
They beat Canterbury College 2-1 in the final after qualifying unbeaten from the group stage.
Meanwhile, Maidstone women lost to K College (Tonbridge campus) in the final of their competition, with Maidstone women netballers finishing third.
The KCSSA was established in 1995 to provide sixth-form and further education college students with the same sporting opportunities available at school and education.
Its most recent tournament was held at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre on Wednesday, 2 May.
